With the Champions League starting up again next week, following the International break, we'll look to see the most exciting fixtures and off field happenings. Real Madrid host Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday morning at 5:45 (AEST) for an intense looking fixture. The two teams are level pegging, both sitting on 6 points for Group H, fighting for that number 1 spot. The odds are favourable for the Spanish team, given that they've yet to lose agains Spurs, from 4 games played between the two sides, Madrid winning three. Dortmund fall at home The second round of the UEFA Champions League commenced on Wednesday 27th September, with some tough fixtures, but all eyes were fixed on Bundesliga powerhouse Borussia Dortmund hosting the La Liga champions Real Madrid at the Signal Iduna Park. The match was heading slightly in favour of the German team with both sides having good opportunities to score, and a clear hand ball by Sergio Ramos (RM) stopping a potential goal not being penalised by the referee, until Gareth Bale (RM) broke the deadlock in the 18th minute with a stunning volley assisted by Daniel Carvajal. The Welshman then went onto assist teammate Cristiano Ronaldo to double their lead in the 50th minute. Until 4 minutes later Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Bor) halved the deficit.
