The NBA preseason is officially underway and finally NBA fans worldwide get to see the new teams play for the first time. The flurry of moves by superstars in the NBA is finally starting to seem more real every time we see these new combinations on the court. Players that once had the ball in their hands most of the time for their previous teams have now joined new super teams and that will certainly mean less individual touches for these players and more passing and watching as the team seeks out the hot hand and looks for the best shot. Ego surrender is a must now for new super teams such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Houston Rockets, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics as well. The NBA world has been reshaped by the Carmelo Anthony trade from the New York Knicks to the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Knicks have gone from a fringe playoff team to a very young team that is looking to the future now and the Thunder have gone from a mid-placed playoff team in the stacked western conference to a possible championship contender and could possibly knock out the dominant Golden State Warriors in the western conference and defeat the winner of the east, making them NBA champions. This all depends if the combination of Russell Westbrook, Paul George and Carmelo Anthony can make it work together and execute correctly. If that happens, we could be seeing the team that knocks the warriors out.
