Image
The NBA preseason is officially underway and finally NBA fans worldwide get to see the new teams play for the first time. The flurry of moves by superstars in the NBA is finally starting to seem more real every time we see these new combinations on the court. Players that once had the ball in their hands most of the time for their previous teams have now joined new super teams and that will certainly mean less individual touches for these players and more passing and watching as the team seeks out the hot hand and looks for the best shot. Ego surrender is a must now for new super teams such as the Oklahoma City Thunder, the Houston Rockets, the Minnesota Timberwolves and Boston Celtics as well. The new look Cleveland Cavaliers are also revamped with the additions of Dwayne Wade and Derrick Rose and the Cavaliers will now need to put ego’s away and put the idea of winning first, which means less minutes, less touches and less shots on a very deep team with plenty of talent. Review of the 2017 NRL Grand Final

Image
The NRL Grand Final is the most watched NRL all season and it did not disappoint this year. The game was between Melbourne Storm and the North Queensland Cowboys.  Image source Melbourne Storm who were the hot and in-form favourites to win the premiership showed that they were a class above the rest on the weekend with their 34-6 thumping over the Cowboys. At the end of the first half the score was already 18-0 and the Cowboys looked like they didn't have much of a chance to get back into the game. The Cowboys only try came just after the half time break. This filled the Cowboys and their supporters with hopes of a comeback, but these hopes were soon after diminished when the Storm went on to score another three tries.  Image source The Clive Churchill medal is the medal that is presented to the man of the match of the Grand Final. This year's Clive Churchill medallist was Billy Slater who plays at Fullback for the Melbourne Storm. This is the second time that Slat...

Neither side was able to make the break at the half, the best chance a driven header from Fernandinho kept out by a quick save from Thibaut Courtois. Chelsea manager Antonio Conte looked visibly dejected when in-form striker Alvaro Morata asked for play to be halted to voluntarily substitute himself expressing concerns for his hamstring. City found the lead in 67th-minute through Kevin de Bruyne, the goal which proved to be the winner. A rising left-footed drive from outside the box against his former club saw Manchester City above their ...
